What made you decide to get rid of your ponytail?
I had long hair for a long time and felt like I needed a change.
Is Swiss German you speak very different from German spoken in Germany (I mean if I speak traditional German will I be understood in Switzerland)?
Yes, you’ll certainly be understood perfectly well speaking to someone in traditional German in the parts of Switzerland where Swiss German is spoken. Traditional German is the language we communicate in at school (with the teachers, not amongst each other) and also in writing. So Swiss German is pretty much a dialect and some Germans (especially from the southern parts) understand Swiss German.
