Roger to open against Lu
Roger will open his quest for a sixth Wimbledon title against Taiwan's Yen-Hsun Lu (ATP 64) next week. The two players have not me before.
Our champ would meet Guillermo Garcia-Lopez or Augustin Calleri in the second round and Philipp Kohlschreiber in the third before he is due to face Robin Söderling - which would be a remake of the final at Roland Garros. Fernando Verdasco is a possible opponent in the last eight and Roger could play Serbian fourth seed Novak Djokovic in the semi-finals. Rafael Nadal pulled out of the tournament today.
London is Roger's next opportunity to mix up the statistics. He is aiming for a record 15th Grand Slam title, a record 7th consecutive final and a sixth Wimbledon victory (just one below Sampras' record).
