Roger continued his cruise-control ride through the Key Biscayne tournament, dominating Tim Henman 6-4, 6-2 in a one-hour 12-minute afternoon quarterfinal that never seemed in doubt.

He will meet Andre Agassi, who won against Taylor Dent 7-5, 6-0.

He said it had definitely been one of his best matches this week. Roger's strong, deep groundstrokes kept Henman pinned behind the baseline much of the match. He had six volley winners to Roger's three.

Roger now has a 17-6 career record on Key Biscayne, where he is admired and cheered.

After being stretched to three matches against his past two opponents at NASDAQ, Roger said he now feels as good as he has in a while.

He also seemed surprise to have a good start to the season, doubting how he would defend his titles of the previous year, and how he would maintain his achieved level. He knows people expect so much, that he needs to feel well almost every day to come through.
