Gasquet has to give up

27.02.2015 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger is still on course for a seventh title in Dubai. He clearly captured the first set 6-1 before Richard Gasquet (ATP 27) had to give up in his quarter-final today.

Our champ spent just 20 minutes on court before strong back pain made it impossible for the Frenchman to continue the match. Roger has just been on court for a total of 2h16' so far to secure his spot among the last four.

He will next meet 18 year old lucky-loster Borna Coric (ATP 84) for a place in the final.

I was pleasantly surprised to wake up and find the 2nd semi was not such an annihilation...gave up after the 1st set bagel.

Thanks LK and Fancy for the interesting links.

Go Roger!

Dear Roger,

I am ready for you to buy the ATP! They are blocking everything -interviews, highlights, matches. Very frustrating for the fans!!!

Part of the on-court interview, really audio:

Dubai after court interview:

Sail on to victory in the final!

Luv, LK
