Roger moved into the third round in Dubai after a 7-5, 6-3 victory over Feliciano Lopez today.
In an equal fight and tight first set Roger had his first break points - three to be precise - at 5-4, but he was not able to seize the opportunity at that very moment. Eventually, Roger served 9 aces and got 95% of his first serve points to take the first set 7-5. The second set was similar to the first, with Roger untouchable on serve. Our champ needed just one matchball to win the match after 75 minutes.
In the quarter finals, Roger will meet Mikhail Youzhny (ATP 34). Our champ clearly leads the head-to-head 11-0.

Another fantastic tennis match for which I thank both of you.We thoroughly enjoyed watching 'great tennis'.You have certainly spoilt us recently playing men who all play very good and interesting shots/games, particulary against you.
And that first point at the beginning of 9th game 2nd set--brilliant --oh my goodness you would be the only person on this earth that could win it. Your movement is quite extraordinary
