Unfortunately the second round encounter already meant Roger's out at the Telecom Italia Masters. Spain’s Costa showed the better performance on clay, winning 6-3, 3-6 and 2-6. Roger started to struggle during the second set, giving away twelve break points in total. He is nevertheless very confident to improve as he has more match play on clay. The tournament is not over yet, though – together with Yves Allegro Roger will try to show just as successful matches in the doubles as last year.
