Swiss Class

18.03.2005 | Off Court

Stephane Lambiel of Switzerland has done it – he yesterday won the gold medal at figure skating's world championships in Moscow. "I felt so good and so light," the 19-year-old said. He had an assured program that was full of flair, eventually finishing ahead of Jeffrey Buttle of Canada, and Evan Lysacek of the United States. Roger would like to congratulate his compatriot on the terrific result. He is thrilled to see fellow Swiss sportsmen perform successfully on an absolute top-level, making him proud that such a small country is able to establish itself in the international world of sports.
