What an incredible match and what a tough loss. It's always frustrating to lose a deciding TB, even more so when having MPs... But you know better than anyone else that you got an incredible tough opponent for your opening match. Now have a good couple days back home with the family and decide then what you will do regarding Rome. Hopefully the draw god will be on your side there ;-) Keep going strong and never forget that we are there to support you always!!!

Still .... at least you will now get some rest before Rome. That one has yet to appear on your list of trophies. May 2015 be the Roman year for Roger!

Salut Roger! J'espère que tu ne sois pas très déçu et que tu décideras d'aller à Rome! Ça a été un match très bizarre mais c'est le sport . Allez, des belles victoires vont encore venir et nous serons tous ici pour t'applaudir. Grosses bises

What incredibly bad luck, dearest Roger! You won this match on points - you were ahead on points for the entire match and still 4 ahead at the end - but the tennis scoring system lost it for you yet again, as it did in the last Madrid final against Nadal, which you also won on points yet lost in games. And you were so, so close to winning this one. I watched the entire thing and was inspired and amazed by your courage and energy and beautiful play, despite the tough week in Istanbul.

I'm sure Roger by now knows what to do and it's Halle after Roland Garros.

Close to the return to number one. Now it is time to grind. Ensure pierre has you perfectly fit for RG in order to recover fast and win the next french open. Beleive in yourself. Stay focused and go one step at a time. Time to conquer rome. Please be there on Friday practicing. I still beleive you should play Stuttgart after RG and Newport after wimbledon. You need to keep playing and winning tournaments. You already won 3 small and middle tournaments this year. Time to bring home big points.

Roger: I am sad but unfortunatelly not surprised since this was a big chance. This tournament is one that has been nice to you but the conditions are highly different. Fortunately you did not play badly. You won more points on the match than Kyrgios. 2 out of the four matches you lost this year have been after winning more points than your rival. Now it is key to not stop much. Just rest tomorrow, some sight seeing and then stright to rome to win a tournament that you deserve and will bring you
