Guests in Halle Support Foundation

14.06.2005 | Foundation

Ralf Weber, the tournament-director of the Gerry Weber Open, handed Roger a cheque over 20’000 Euros for the IMBEWU project in South Africa last weekend. “We are more than glad to make use of our tournament in order to help promote and support Roger’s social commitment”, Weber said. Roger supports children in the township of New Brighton close to Port Elizabeth by means of his partnership with the IMBEWU project. “I am really glad and thankful for the help offered by the guests and responsibles of the Gerry Weber Open”, Roger explained, “I can help the children build their own future with the money”. The sum had been gathered by selling raffle tickets during the Gerry Weber Open party last weekend.
