New website

12.08.2005 | Off Court

Thank you for the great interest in Roger’s new site. It is clear that a project like this always finds many people who like it and others who prefer the old version. Our aim was to create a site that brings Roger closer to the fans all around the world, containing modules that have been specifically developed.

Well, as you can see the green background is not set. It was very interesting to read your discussions about the topic in the forum – and yes, the colour of the site will change according to the colour of the surface Roger is playing on! And the local weather and time are also set according to the tournament played.

As already communicated, we will include further extras and new modules within the next months – so take a look every now and then to check out the new site! Thank you for all your feedback so far, we will certainly discuss the points mentioned and make adaptations where necessary.

Don’t forget to participate in the competition we have launched – 10 signed Nike caps are up for grabs! We have changed the deadline for answers to August 23, simply send your answer to webteam@rogerfederer.com.

1. How many registered users have joined www.rogerfederer.com so far (+-500)?

2. What is the township near Port Elizabeth () called where the Roger Federer Foundation supports children together with IMBEWU?

3. At what age did Roger first get sponsored?

4. Against whom did Roger win his first junior tournament?

5. What big object related to tennis hangs from the ceiling in Rotterdam?

Kind regards

LOVE this color, and love the idea of changing the color to the current tournament court color !! And having the tournament info in the upper left corner is great ! (but the Cincinnati time is off by one hour...)
Keep up the great work with the site.

I do love this new color! I once had the very same as my desktop background.
I think some of the lettering can be a little larger on the site. Good luck in Cincinnatti!!
Can't wait.
