29.06.2016 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger did not have to work too hard today, defeating Marcus Willis 6-0, 6-3, 6-4 in 84 minutes to move on to round three.

I heard the ESPN commentators say that yesterday Roger only practiced his serve and volleys for 10 minutes, then called it a day, indicating that his back is probably not 100%

This is bad but at the same time relieving, because if Roger is not 100% this would explain why he isn't hitting the ball well and why his movement has been bad as of late. If he was 100%, then to me it would mean that he won't be able to move well again after knee surgery and back injuries.

Roger said in his post match BBC interview that the grass is still a little slipppery and he's being cautious for the time being.

Congratulations Roger. Got home from work to find Roger was a set and a break up. Wondered if Roger was 100% too - ie don't think he is but "small, small steps" and let's hope it is another 2012 sort of year. Thought Roger was magnanimous and a true gentleman at the end. Good luck Roger - hope it isn't another Brit next round. Does anyone know if ND was playing well today? I know his match was longer then Roger's match. Hope Roger is well and irons out the kinks in his game.

The BH smashes were not powerful enough by roger indicating hes not 100%...roger was also asked whether he was 100% in the interview but side stepped it....just hope he gets miraculously cured like in 2012
