Roger was an easy first-round winner Tuesday at the U.S. Open, beating Ivo Minar 6-1, 6-1, 6-1 in a brisk 64 minutes at Ashe Stadium.

 

Roger served a total of 12 aces and held his serve throughout the mismatch, taking home a clear victory against Minar on his US Open debut. Roger is now whopping 65-3 this season, including a co-ATP-best nine titles. French Open champ Rafael Nadal also owns nine championships in this 2005 campaign.

 

Roger's second-round opponent will be crafty Frenchman Fabrice Santoro.

Roger, you are my favourite player since Pete Sampras ended, your game is wonderfull and I know all of it. Santoro can not any chance to complicated match. Good Luck
