Roger struggles to second round in Bangkok
28.09.2005 | Tennis
Roger was made to battle for the upper hand against Brazilian Marcos Daniel as he began the defense of his Thailand Open title, hurling his racket to the ground in frustration before winning 7-6 6-4 in 90 minutes.
His frustration was understandable as 133rd-ranked Daniel refused to be intimidated by the stature of his opponent and rallied well from the baseline. Roger will next meet the German qualifyer Denis Gremelmayr (ATP 239).

To win a match in straight sets is really good enough, you know?!
For me(us), a 'win' is a 'win', no matter what the scores are.

A veces nos tenemos que conformar con un poco menos que la perfección, que para los demás "es" la perfección.
No dejarse llevar por las ideas de excelencia, y confiar en que tu juego, tarde o temprano, llegará
