Roger eased past Gilles Muller of Luxembourg 6-4 6-3. He will next meet Jarkko Nieminen in the semi-finals.

 

Roger clearly dominated the match against Muller (ATP 66), who had defeated Rafael Nadal in Wimbledon and Andy Roddick at the US Open earlier this year. The head-to-head against the left-hander now stands at 2:0 in Roger's favour.

 

The sixth seeded Niemenen ended the run of Taiwan's Yeu-Tzuoo Wang, winning 6-4 6-7 6-4.

Well done Roger - and it looks like you had some good practice today before facing another lefty!
Best of luck in the semis, I hope you can roll over Nieminen as well.
The title is almost yours...
