Roger advanced 6-0, 6-0 over Gaston Gaudio to reach his third consecutive Tennis Masters Cup final with the most comprehensive win ever at the year-ending championships.

Gaudio served a total of nine double faults and won only nine points in the second set against Federer, not making it too hard for Roger.
