Roger in his 10th straight final
Roger moved a step closer to a third straight Indian Wells Masters Series title, reaching the final with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Paradorn Srichaphan. He set up a final showdown against either world No. 2 two Rafael Nadal or American James Blake after extending his winning run at the tournament to 17 matches.
Roger was never seriously troubled by the unseeded Thai, despite dropping his serve in the opening game of the second set. Paradorn then held to lead 2-0, but Roger reeled off the next five games as he cruised into his 10th straight final in firm control.
"His chance came in the beginning of the second, he was up a break," Roger said. "The wind picked up, I thought this could be a little tricky one. But I got back quickly and finished it out well, so I'm happy."
Roger's 2006 record stands at 17-1, his sole loss to coming to Nadal in the Dubai final earlier this month.

Wow, you're simply the best! What a match, even if I had to endure some cardiace issues after you went two games down in the first set. I have to confess I thought the first set was James's. How could I have doubted you couldn't turn it aroun
Look forward to much of the same in Miami!!!
All the best, Stefano
