Roger to meet Ljubicic in Miami final
01.04.2006 | Tennis
Roger needed only 59 minutes Friday night to reach the Nasdaq-100 Open final, beating David Ferrer, 6-1, 6-4. The defending champion, fell behind by 3-0 in the second set, but rallied to improve his record this year to 27-1.
"I played well, in the first set I didn't give him any chances," Roger said. "The second set was tighter, but his game suits me on hardcourt. I'm playing so well that it was tough for him from the start."
His opponent Sunday will be the sixth-seeded Ivan Ljubicic, who advanced to his first final in the United States by beating No. 3 David Nalbandian, 6-1, 6-2.
Roger has won his past six meetings against Ljubicic. Over all, he leads, 9-3.

You really are playing wonderful tennis right now. I will be watching tomorrow at noon -- on television unfortunately, but one day I hope to see you play live -- and hope for another amazing match from you. Don't lose concentration though
Do not forget there is a time change on Sunday. We lose one hour.
Good luck. Yoy can win this title.
