Laureus World Sports Awards 2006

22.05.2006 | Off Court

The Awards Ceremony of the Laureus World Sports Awards will be staged at the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona this evening.

Roger has been nominated for the prestigious award again after having taken it home last year. What do you think - will he become the second athlete after Tiger Woods to receive the trophy in two consecutive years?

The nominees next to Roger for the 2006 sportsman of the year are Fernando Alonso (Spain, Motor Racing), Lance Armstrong (USA, Cycling), Ronaldinho (Brazil, Football), Valentino Rossi (Italy, Motor Cycling) and Tiger Woods (USA, Golf)
