Can Roger make it four?

18.02.2008 | Off Court

The winners of the Laureus Awards, the most prestigious title in the world of sports, will be announced in St. Petersburg today.

The Awards were established in 1999. As first athlete ever, Roger has had the honour of receiving the trophy of 'Sportsman of the Year' three times ('05, '06, '07). Can he go even further this year and make history again by topping this great achievement with a fourth consecutive Award?

It certainly won't be easy as the other nominees are none less than golfer Tiger Woods (USA), sprinter Tyson Gay (USA), soccer player Kaká (BRA), swimmer Michael Phelps (USA) and race car driver Kimi Räikkönen (FIN). The celebrations and award ceremony will be held in St. Petersburg (RUS) this evening. Bring it home, Roger!
