First round of 16 on grass this year

Roger won his first grasscourt match of the season today when he beat Indian qualifier Rohan Bopanna 7-6 (4), 6-2 in the ATP-tournament in Halle.

 

Only three days after losing the French Open final against Spain's Rafael Nadal, he showed a solid performance against the Indian number one who was playing in only his second ATP event this year.

 

Roger will play France's Richard Gasquet in the next round.

Keep your cool fellow fans. Roger just won over Gasquet. I was following the match via Internet. It's ok now, we can breathe, whew!!
