Roger returns onto court this week at the Masters 1000 in Shanghai after a month-long break. He had captured the title in the Asian metropolis in 2003, 2004, 2006 and 2007.

 

Like all the other seven top players, Roger has been freed of the first round. He will enter the tournament against the winner of the match between America's John Isner (ATP 22) and Czech Republic's Lukas Dlouhy (ATP 600). After that a meeting with Marin Cilic (ATP 14) would be likely. Further progress will lead to a possible match with Robin Söderling (ATP 5) in the quarterfinals, followed by Novak Djokovic (ATP 2) in the semis.

We are alike then. Sometimes, to minimize the frazzling, I like to follow Roger via score-boarding online, instead of live on TV!

But once Roger begins to gain control of a match, then it is not so hard to watch!

that's right, it's in Shanghai, and the world's usually ahead of USA by opposite zone by at least a day, so if it says 8pm there, it'd be played in the wee mornin' here...tx 4 the reminder~!

It is local (Shanghai) time, I think. If so, then, for those in the USA, it would be...

8AM EST (Eastern Standard Time)... NewYork, all of New England down

Just remember that Seattle is 15hrs behing Shanghai...If Roger plays at 8:00pm, wed.oct 13
as scheduled, it will be 5:00am wednesday in Seattle. Will you be up that early ??? I
