Title number 64!
Roger defeated Germany's Florian Mayer 6-4, 6-3 today to win the Stockholm Open. It is his third title this year and his 64th career title - matching Pete Sampras' record!
Once more in Stockholm, it was not easy for Roger to find his way into the match as he eventually faced a break in game number 7. But he reacted immediately today, breaking right back and even scoring another break shortly afterwards to take the set. The second set was all Roger's as he showed some spectacular tennis to secure the title after 64 minutes.
Only Jimmy Connors (109), Ivan Lendl (94) and John McEnroe (77) have collected more tournament titles than Roger so far. Our champ matched Pete Sampras' mark of 64 today. Next up are the Swiss Indoors in Roger's home-town Basel in a week's time.

After struggling for a few days to find my way on the renewed website I just followed the suggestion from the Forum and installed Firefox (AND the Adobe Flash Player plug-in) as my web browser. I now am able to post and thus a happy fan again.
The new design of your website looks very stylish and I like it very much. I kind of missed the bright colors for a while, but by now it seems as if this new site has been here forever. I like the improved RESULTS pages, which shows a compact list of titles and finals and all your awards over the years. Presented like this the list looks even more impressive than before ;-).
Congratulations on both the launching of the redesigned site AND winning your first round in Basel. You played an excellent match against a potentially dangerous player and it was a pity you couldn’t finish it properly. I feel sorry of course for both of you that Dolgoplov got injured, but nobody has any doubts that you would have won anyway.
I wish you all the very best for your match against Janko Tipsarevic.

Just the other day I read that Ivan Ljubicic reached his milestone 400th tour level match and he's older than Roger. This makes me have an even deeper appreciation for how much Roger has accomplished and enriched the game of tennis. Congratulations and GO ROGER!!!!!
