Roger's opponents in London

The ATP World Tour Finals will start this coming Sunday. Roger will face Andy Murray, Robin Söderling and David Ferrer in the group stage (Group B). In Group A, Nadal has been drawn against world number three Novak Djokovic, Tomas Berdych and Andy Roddick. Matches in Nadal’s group will commence on Monday, November 22. Reigning champion Nikolay Davydenko is a notable absentee, just like last year's second finalist, Juan Martin Del Potro.

Roger has defeated Ferrer in all ten matches the two have played so far and has only lost once to Söderling in 15 encounters. In the head-to-head with Murray, on the other hand, Roger trails by 5:8. The first two players of each group will book a spot in the semi-finals, the tournament final will be held on Sunday, November 28.

Jennico: Heard your reply loud and clear. No big deal for me really. Maybe, just a little separation from one statement to the next might do good next time so that it wouldn't appear to be particularly meant to a single or group of people. Other than that, we are still Federer's army of loyalists. By the way,I'm a HE so it wouldn't be gentle to argue with a SHE on a light issue. Dear Roger, you are the very best: and differences in your game, even if some might feel smaller,get to be very meaningful indeed on a "cosmic scale." Re competition: It's odd and perturbing that del Potro and Davydenko are not there. What's with young del Potro, that he wins 1 GS and then is down and out? Such a big strong man? And Davydenko, away again. Are they clearing the field for the mallorcan, I can't help but wonder? You top all: good luck, stand your ground!
