Roger's opponents in London

The ATP World Tour Finals will start this coming Sunday. Roger will face Andy Murray, Robin Söderling and David Ferrer in the group stage (Group B). In Group A, Nadal has been drawn against world number three Novak Djokovic, Tomas Berdych and Andy Roddick. Matches in Nadal’s group will commence on Monday, November 22. Reigning champion Nikolay Davydenko is a notable absentee, just like last year's second finalist, Juan Martin Del Potro.

Roger has defeated Ferrer in all ten matches the two have played so far and has only lost once to Söderling in 15 encounters. In the head-to-head with Murray, on the other hand, Roger trails by 5:8. The first two players of each group will book a spot in the semi-finals, the tournament final will be held on Sunday, November 28.

Don't worry. Everybody should be aware (barring some like JM, Murray) that he took six weeks off before this tournament and if made that injury excuse (which he'll) then it's obvious... Normally if a player is physically down, then he/she gets mentally down, but in Nadal's case it's the opposite. If he is mentally down (less confidence), he fakes injury...

...if Rafa had made it to 3 or 4 AO finals or US Open finals and faced Roger those H2H's would look very different in my opinion.

It backs up what I posted a couple of days ago about why Rafa has a lopsided H2H against Roger. Roger has made it to so many more finals on Rafa's favourite surface (clay) than Rafa has on the other surfaces because more often than not Rafa would lose before he had a chance to face Roger. So the statistics are a bit misleading...

Dear Roger, as you said in your ad for the MATCH FOR AFRICA, you can give Rafa the first set in Zurich but in London don't give him anything!! Win it in straights if you face him. It's time to show the world you mean business. Stop feeling sorry for your opponents. Good luck. Go all the way!
