Roger visits 10 Downing Street

19.11.2010 | Tennis, Starseite 3

The eight players fighting for the crown of the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals met British Prime Minister David Cameron on Thursday. "It's fantastic that the ATP World Tour Finals tournament is back in London for the second year running. It's great for London and great for the country."

Roger, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Robin Soderling, Andy Murray, Tomas Berdych, David Ferrer and Andy Roddick met Cameron at 10 Downing Street for a group photo and then went on to a private reception.

Roger:
You obviously deserve the Fan favourite and to me you´re always be the Stefan Edberg Sportman but this year players had the excuse to vote Nadal.
You forever and ever will be the #1!!!!!!!!!!

This year's awards have been announced. Roger won the Fan Favourite (no surprise) but the shocker was Rafa winning the Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award, voted on by fellow players. Roger has won that award for the last 6 years. Hmmm.

Another good Bleacher Report wherein the top 8 are given their chances of winning WTF. Of course each and every one of them is compared to the Mighty Fed because he's the one to beat. But it ain't happening this year!!
