Roger easily defeats Murray

23.11.2010 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger once again proved he has Andy Murray's number when it comes to the big matches with a crushing 6-4 6-2 victory over the Scotsman at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals today.

Bidding for a record-equalling fifth title at the year-ending showpiece, Roger cruised to victory this afternoon in a packed O2 Arena with a minimum of fuss. Murray already had to save break points in the opening game but made it though. Roger kept digging and already broke to love on the Scot's second service game. Roger held the important lead and finally closed the first set after 36 minutes. The second set was even more a display of Roger's great form as he raced to a 4-0 lead. After some more spectacular points Roger enjoyed a deserved standing ovation from the London crowd.

Should Ferrer win at least one set against Söderling this evening, Roger has already booked his spot in the semi-finals.

Hi Rog - all the best for this afternoon's match with Robin. If you play as coolly and cleverly as against Andy you're a shoo-in I think and hope. All the best for things to go your way and you win in straights, love Wendy

Dear Roger
Please don't pay attention to the combinations about the rankings in the group. It's ugly. Your opponent is a tough one, you know it better than me, no matter of the head to head results, you have to play as well as you can. It's the only way to reach the semis in this prestigious tour!!!
Dear Roger, stay calm and coolblooded! Nobody is better than you. YOU are the BEST tennis player ever seen. keep on playing well.
I wish you good luck dearest Roger
Go, Roger, goooooo!
Love Mimi

Hi ROGI !!

Congrats again for the way you mastered the game vs Mr. Runaway (Murray)
Excellent concentration..I agree with idea that he didn't play his best and whatever the cause was you should take care cuz you might meet him in the final
Don't you ever feel pity to other players..Keep up the sharp and focussed performance..
Don't care about semifinal opponent.. whoever will be, you can beat!! if you play the with same resilience..

God blees you

Forever your friend

Just to say I agree with Abby1 - this site is for the fans of our Rog, we don't have to get nasty about anyone else. I think that Rafa is a nice guy and he and Rog are good friends - note year end charity exhibitions! When all eight top players are in the draw how can it possibly be fixed? Let's just wish Roger all the very best as always - we all know he can do it. love to Rog, W

Just to continue
While Djoko was suffering from contact lens functionning, Nadal started arguing with referee(like a spoiled child) complaining of the delay!!
As a conclusion, if this is the way that this noble sport will go on, it's better for us FEDERERIANS from now on 2 start searching another watchable sport in order to prepare minds for the post ROGI retirement days!!!

Such bad, gloomy and dark days of tennis world I could expect!!!

**Just to continue my idea

Players like Djoko, Rsod , Runaway sorry 'Murray'and others use to use only one or maximum two types of tricks like
Djoko grunting+sometimes coaching
Murray Injury fakes+too mush interpoint delay
RSod coaching
ARod referee arguing
Delpo too much interpoint delay
While Nadal makes a special recipe of all these ugly tricks with a trade mark ''NADALISM''and what happened during yesterday match Rn vs Djoko wasvery ugly.like while Djoko was suffering.TB cont'd
