Roger through to semis
Roger once again displayed great tennis today, defeating Robin Söderling 7-6(5), 6-3 and is the first player to book his spot in the semi-finals of the ATP World Tour Finals in London.
Söderling tried to dominate Roger with his serve today but the sheer class of our champ showed through. The first set was pretty close with Roger taking it 7-6(5) and it is at this point that he looked like he had put his foot down on the gas. The second set saw Roger get into his stride and play some of those lovely ground strokes that we love. He broke in the eighth game with a couple of classy points and completed his 15th victory in 16 encounters with Soderling in 88 minutes. Roger's variation of play and his serve were outstanding.
He will now play the player coming second in group A on Saturday.

I wish u the best of luck tonight!

COME ON!!!
Thank you. Actually I am at the Airport now waiting for my flight back home. I only had tickets for the RR matches. I would have loved to watch Roger a little longer though, because there is nothing better than watching him live. It was good to see how much Roger is loved in London. I met a lot of people from all over the world who only got tickets to watch Roger. He is in very good shape, looks very fit and healthy and as always took some time to take care of his fans.

We should stay fair under all circumstances. That is what Roger stands for and that is why he received the Sportsmanship Award so many times. When a player is treated unjustly he has the right to protest and get angry when he is robbed of his right. I would like us to respect Roger's competitors more. This is sport, not war.

Umpires are only human and they make mistakes. The umpires selected for the WTF are the best in the business, but even they can make mistakes. My point was that Nadal had every right to be angry, given the moment in the match: 5-6 down, serving to stay in the match, a match he had to win to qualify for the SF. What I dislilke about the behaviour of some of Roger's fans over here is that they magnify everything Nadal does and rate it in a negative way.
