Roger through to semis

Roger once again displayed great tennis today, defeating Robin Söderling 7-6(5), 6-3 and is the first player to book his spot in the semi-finals of the ATP World Tour Finals in London.

Söderling tried to dominate Roger with his serve today but the sheer class of our champ showed through. The first set was pretty close with Roger taking it 7-6(5) and it is at this point that he looked like he had put his foot down on the gas. The second set saw Roger get into his stride and play some of those lovely ground strokes that we love. He broke in the eighth game with a couple of classy points and completed his 15th victory in 16 encounters with Soderling in 88 minutes. Roger's variation of play and his serve were outstanding.

He will now play the player coming second in group A on Saturday.

dunno if nadal is the world's best player or not. one thing for sure he is WORLD NO.1 as far cheating and disgraceful behaviour is concerned.shame on you!serious questions about his upbringing.

Hey Champ, don't even think of the finals now. The atmosphere here is totally different than USO and this is a best-of-three. So, physically you'll be okay with that. Mentally, this is indoors and your favorite surface, so nobody comes close to you, remember that. Don't even care about all kinds of gimmicks from the opposition. Just play your A-game. Get it over in straights. Can't wait to see you lift the trophy on Sunday.

Congrats, keep going this plz Roger and beat Novak so u can make the finals and beat also Nadal.. i think 'll make the finals 2, so plz win the tournament.

No offense bug I'm sure the umpire understands the rules a little better than Dutchlady. Now maybe we can put this arguement to rest once and for all and focus our energy on cheering on our Champ.
