Roger suffers defeat number two

Roger was defeated in straight sets by Novak Djokovic in the final of the Dubai Tennis Championships today.

"I had a tough start and a tough end but Novak played a solid tournament all the way through and deserved to win,” Roger said. “It was a tough end for me but still a great tournament."

Roger faced a strong Djokovic right from the start and was clearly dominated in the first set. It looked better in set number two as he broke the Serb to take a 3-1 lead. But unfortunately he had to constantly battle with problems with his timing and rhythm, losing 20 of the following 25 points and eventually the match.

you lost because there was something ubnormal going on. you don't usually take a 3-1 lead and lose the next 5 games. so there must have been something wrong.
I couldn't watch the match but knowing that you took the lead means that there was different scenario from Australian Open and that means that Grand Slam defeat was occasional which is the most important for us

Sad... Roger it was not your day but at least you did better than last year to reach the final. Wish you all the best at Indian Wells.

hi roger you are god of tennis for EVER and some people like nadal or novak or murray or in past nikolay davydenko and delpotro go up and defeat you and they get worth after that and the you will be god again we love you we are your special fans who its not important for us that you are second first or any rank we love you becouse of you

The last three years you didn`t played well in the first half of the season, except AO last year. Can you better this year? It would be nice to win again IW or Miami or ......
From time to time I go on youtube to recall the time when RF ruled the world tennis. Perhaps you should recall, too. That Roger is in you just needs to wake up.
