Agree with you, Dutchlady. This person is definitely NOT a fan.

So to criticize Roger on this subject seems pretty unreasonable. This kind of criticism usually comes from the same person and since the principle of sponsoring has been explained to this person before, I think it is rather silly if not plain stupid to bring it up every time the website gives us some info about Rogers activities on behalf of his sponsors.
I wonder if this critical fan will ever understand?

Some people still don't seem to understand that an athlete needs sponsors to be able to finance all the staff and facilities he needs to perform at that top level. As we can learn from this video the sponsors also make substantial donations to the athlets charity, in this case the Roger Federer Foundation. Sponsors will want something back for their money like appearances in commercials, ad-campagnes and sponsor events. And according to Roger this kind of activities help him to relax as well.

THIS IS NOT THE TIME FOR PHOTO SHOOTS , IT'S A TIME WHERE ROGER SHOULD BE PUNISHING HIMSELF IN THE GYM , IF HE WANTS TO KEEP UP WITH THE LIKES OF DJOKOVIC , WHAT'S NEXT , ANOTHER CHOCOLATE COMMERCIAL ?

Hi Roger,
I liked you the photo shot with the Credit Suisse, but the interview, you are so great will your approach and hope that anyone who saw your interview would help the poverty country rather than keep the wealth within themselves. I'm impresssed and job well done.
