Time with Pete

Dear Fans

It's great to be in the USA again and I'm really looking forward to the tournaments in Indian Wells and in Miami. I had a great time the last few days here together with Pete Sampras. We enjoyed an exhausting training session as well as some basketball-action watching the LA Lakers win at Staples Center.

THELONEROGER, i agree with you, lets just wish Roger will find that in his game again and again, despite his age, his not getting any younger you know..let this new guys, Nadal, Murray, and arrogant Novak beat his record first, until then, Roger is tennis, Tennis is Roger, Perfect....

I just watched the first set of the 2004 US Open final (Roger versus Hewitt) on Youtube.
Roger's forehand and movement were so scary back then that I don't think anybody could have beaten him in a Slam final if he played like that.
Watch the thump sound and racket speed on his forehand. Every forehand was a penetrating, heavy knockout punch. It was accompanied with beautiful movement, balance and coordination.
Damn, I wish Roger can find that forehand back. He would put everybody to shame.

another loss to Nadal in exhibition match. Roger i think u should revise your 20 slam target. u might have won the last one in Aus last year mate coz i dont see u beating Rafa, Nole and Murray this year. we support u but lets face reality!

The IW draw is out. Again Nadal has an easy draw (not sure how) and once again our Champ is drawn against Djokovic in the bottom half. But of course, this time things will be different, for sure. Anyhow, all our Champ needs is to stay healthy and focused physically and mentally. Nadal's quarter avoids all the potential dangers. Interesting!

Would anyone know about how the match came out between Rafa and Roger in Eugene, Oregon?I have seen no news on it at all and I know it was sold out and was to have beenplayed today March. 8th. thanks!
