Semis against Djokovic and |doubles final!

Roger has made it through to the semis in Indian Wells thanks to a clear 6-3, 6-4 victory against his compatriot and doubles-partner Stanislas Wawrinka

Roger was in control right from the start as he earned 89% points on his first serve with the help of 14 winners and committed just 12 unforced errors, compared to Wawrinka's 28. The first set lastet 29 minutes and Roger was able to seal his victory after 63 minutes.

Roger will now play Novak Djokovic in Saturday's semi-final.

 

Roger had a mere two hours for interviews and some rest before making his way onto court a second time with Stan as the two played the defending champions in the doubles tournament. Our two Olympic champs defeated Nadal/Lopez 7-5, 6-3 and will now play Alexandr Dolgopolov and Xavier Malisse in the final!

Hello Roger,

Your fans are over the moon, because you are doing so well in both singles AND doubles, playing two matches on one day as if you were still in your early twenties :-) :-)! If that isn't a good sign that you are feeling good and that your are fit I don't know what is. Congratulations on reaching your 12th consecutive SF in singles since Toronto and also on reaching the final in the doubles. I will watch both of them.

I wish you all the very best for both matches today.
