Key Biscayne: the draw

23.03.2011 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger left California and traveled to the East Coast of the USA in order to play the Sony Ericsson Open on Key Biscayne in Florida.

Like the other top seeds, Roger is exempt from the first round. He will either face Fabio Fognini (ATP 53) or Radek Stepanek (ATP 68) in round two. He could later take on Argentinia's Juan Monaco (ATP 35), before a meeting with either Marcos Baghdatis (ATP 24) or Mikhail Youzhny (ATP 14) is possible. Then, Andy Roddick, the defending champion, could be up in the quarter finals.

Roger, winner in 2005 and 2006, is in the same half of the draw as top-seeded Rafael Nadal. The two champions could meet in the semifinals.

As age is catching upon you, your movements have become slow, not as SWIFT as they used to be, and even your shots are not as ACCURATE and POWERFUL as they used to be. So plzzzzzzzzz get some muscle so you can hit with some power and also practice those corner and on-the-line shots which can fetch you points. plzzzzzz focus more on your FIRST SERVES which are no longer giving you free points, pleaseeeeeeee focus on the above said.................... wish u good luck.

Indeed Roger, there is no tennis without you. You got that 'thing' that no other player has. Be strong and do not get defeated mentally.
Fight and stay positive, offensive until the very last point. It was just a little 'funny' to see Nadal be beaten mentally....
You know you can do it Roger. God bless you and protect you all along this tournament.
Love you always.

Hi Roger, So glad you're in Miami. Your fans still adore you and your tennis -and will always stand by you. Many recognized your potential 10-12 yrs. ago when you were assembling your amazing arsenal of beautiful skills.

You certainly caught my eye with your poise and and beautiful movements. You renewed my interest in tennis.

Love and blessings.

Dear Roger! I read your article entitled "Federer Unfazed by Critics" and I thoroughly agree with you and glad to hear that press and players do not get to you as I believe you have had a great 6 months, as well.

Good Luck in Miami and enjoy the sunshine with your family,
From a fan that loves the way you play tennis, handles yourself like the professional that you are and a truly great person. In my books, no one can hold a candle to you!!!
