And now against Rafa!

31.03.2011 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger had to play just three today to book his spot in the semis of the Miami Masters as Gilles Simon had to retire at 3-0.

After 10 minutes and three games of play - Roger won 12 of 15 points - Simon called the physiotherapist as he claimed to have woken up with a stiff neck. He then realised there was no use in resuming play and shook Roger's hand.

Roger's last few days in Miami have not really been tough and he should be able to attack the round of the last four with plenty of energy. His opponent there is Rafael Nadal, it is the 23rd encounter between the two stars!

told my friend before the match roger couldnt win court too slow nadal done everything better roger really needs to think where he is going because hes starting to give up and theres no point playing on its embarrasing surely annacone can see hes nowhere near dokovic or nadal tactics are no good trying to outhit them from the baseline they are loving it and his servage percent is awful its not nice to see a great champion beaten like that but they all have their day.

delpo will be another tough one. Fed problem is his one handed backhand, not his age.

Fed cannot face the big pressure moment anymore. Fed wanted to be aggressive but nadal does not let him to. Fed does not get into the match. one handed backhand to play baseline, is going to be tough

LUCAYA STOP BEING SO NAIVE PLEASE WAKE UP BECAUSE FEDERER
IS ALMOST 30 AND HE IS PLAYING AGAINST PLAYERS FIVE YEARS YOUNGER
HIS SPEED IS DECREASING AND WE WILL SEE FEDERER WILL BE DROPPING
FURTHER AND FURTHER. MAYBE HE WILL STOP PLAYING QUICKER THAN
PEOPLE WOULD HAVE THOUGHT

Yes it is a pitty to watch this.

No conviction, no desire to Win

Just be there in front of the trauma, and just do not fight (now he has 2 demons)

Best for All

So disappointing to see you not compete well and not respond to the crowd who were pulling so hard for you....hard to do when your opponent is zoning but 38 unforced errors is not champion behaviour..back to the drawing board..still a good tournament...
