A concentrated performance
Roger improved to 56-1 in his last 57 North American hardcourt matches by trouncing Chinese Taipei's Yeu-Tzuoo Wang 6-4, 6-1, 6-0 in 100-minute fashion at Ashe Stadium. He swatted seven aces and broke Wang's serve eight times in a routine outing.
Brimming with confidence, Roger overpowered Wang with his superior shot making, and never allowed the Taiwanese to settle into the match at the Arthur Ashe main stadium. "I tried to play my game by being consistent and making him work hard," said Roger. "It really went well so this is a good start for me."
He next plays the winner of an all-British veterans battle between Greg Rusedski and Tim Henman. Roger, who waited until the third day of the tournament to hit the court, seemed to strengthen as the match progressed. He won 90 percent of his first serve points and hit twice as many winners (44-22) as Wang.
Roger has now won his last 15 matches in Flushing Meadows, seeking his ninth career Grand Slam title.

Congratulations on your win against Henman.

Your serve is incredible strong, especially the 1st serve. And your 44 winners and 18 unforced errors shows that you have been at your top!
I should say congratulations to you although your opponent is a Chinese.
