5-times Halle Champion pulls |out

Dear Fans

I've unfortunately decided to pull out of The Gerry Weber Open in Halle, Germany. I am very disappointed as its one of my absolute favorite tournaments on the ATP Tour, but my body, especially my groin, really needs a rest. After talking with my team this morning, I feel that its way to risky to take a chance on aggravating it even more before Wimbledon.
I send my very best wishes to all my fans in Halle, and again I am so sorry I can't go this year. But I will see you next year.

Just hoping that Berdych or Soderling do not make the final because they get big stage fright. A true and complete grass court player should hold the trophy for the 125th anniversary of grass court tennis.Federer served and volleyed 90% of the time against Phillipousis, now 10% of the time due to numerous 'heavy hitting baseliners' of this generation.He is that complete player.He must restore pride to the volley, serve and volley traditions of Wimbledon.

I don't think Federer fans should fear players like Delpo,Tsonga,Ferrer, Soderling, or Gasquet being in Federer's half of the draw,because he is definitely capable of beating all of them.Djokovic would worry because it's his worst surface,his streak and his so called 'lightning' is over,Nadal is still afraid of Djokovic and is doing 'pre-wimbledon draw prayers' which involves the water bottles I should think,Murray has the English-Wimbledon-semi-final-curse.Only Fed can play free-of-mind.

Agassi said it correctly .. tennis is all about match ups... djoko can beat nadal... federer can beat djoko.. and nadal can beat federer (On clay)...

Bonzie-I agree with you 100%. Nadal always calls out the trainer when he is losing so as to disturb his opponents momentum. He has been doing this forever and won't stop as it is so effective especially on Roger. Don't worry one of these days all the rotten things he does will put him inhis place and that is at the bottom. GO ROGER!!!!!
