Switzerland-Portugal: the draw

Switzerland will meet Portugal in Bern today at 1 pm for the second round of the Davis Cup.

 

Stanislas Wawrinka (ATP 15) will open the three-day encounter against Frederico Gil (ATP 90). Roger will then play Rui Machado (ATP 93) in the second match of the day. On Saturday, Roger and Stan will meet Frederico Gil and Leonardo Tavares in the doubles.

The program of the weekend is as follows:
Friday, 8 July

12:45 am: Opening Ceremony

1 pm: Stanislas Wawrinka - Frederico Gil

followed by Roger - Rui Machado

 

Saturday 9 July

1 pm: Roger/Stan Wawrinka - Gil/Leonardo Tavares

 

Sunday 10 July

noon: Roger - Gil

followed by Wawrinka - Machado

Does'nt matter losing a set he did win after all. In DC there are 5 sets
time enough to set things straight. And these days being 93 means not so much

One advice get used to it in the coming matches if Federer has to play lower
ranked players it will happen regularly that he will let some feathers on the court.
