Switzerland-Portugal: the draw

Switzerland will meet Portugal in Bern today at 1 pm for the second round of the Davis Cup.

 

Stanislas Wawrinka (ATP 15) will open the three-day encounter against Frederico Gil (ATP 90). Roger will then play Rui Machado (ATP 93) in the second match of the day. On Saturday, Roger and Stan will meet Frederico Gil and Leonardo Tavares in the doubles.

The program of the weekend is as follows:
Friday, 8 July

12:45 am: Opening Ceremony

1 pm: Stanislas Wawrinka - Frederico Gil

followed by Roger - Rui Machado

 

Saturday 9 July

1 pm: Roger/Stan Wawrinka - Gil/Leonardo Tavares

 

Sunday 10 July

noon: Roger - Gil

followed by Wawrinka - Machado

You can get results on the official davis cup website. You have to look at group 1 and the Europe group.

**AMPOURA** roger won in 4 sets, stan won in 3 sets. the swiss are ahead 2 matches to none. you have to go to davis cup website and to europe/africa group to find results.
