Roger and Stan win the doubles

09.07.2011 | Tennis, Starseite 3

Roger and Stanislas Wawrinka won their doubles match against Portugal's Frederico Gil and Leonardo Tavares 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 in Bern today. They needed less than two hours for the victory, even though they had a tough start.

Switzerland now has an unbeatable 3-0 lead as only two matches are left to play - thus having qualified for the World Group playoffs in September.

I am hoping nadal gets a draw similar to WIMBY.. and federer gets a draw similar to Wimby... if its Nadal vs del potro... del po will win.. HE SHOULD HAVE WON IN WIMBY... BUT nadal took unnecessary time out... and delpo lost momentum...

fed might olay double with hingis at the olympic. that could be a great thing for hingis reputation after being tested positive. Fed has a lot of stuff. fed is more than a tennis champion, he is a real human being. he is the only sportman I really want to meet if I have an opportunity.

you know what, it is time for fed to retire not because he cannot beat any player in the world, but because he cannot win anymore.
everyone would like to keep watching Jordan, pele, maradona, romario, karel probosky, pete sampras, but when you are a great champion, you have to win. it is all about winning beleive it or not,

Hey Champ, you have an important American summer season before the Davis Cup. Just listen to your body and decide. After going all the way at USO, if you feel you can deliver at the Davis Cup, then go for it otherwise no. Also, it involves long travel from New York to Melbourne. Stay healthy.
