Roger out against Tsonga

Roger lost his second match within a month to Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, ending his quest for the Montreal Masters title after a 6-7(3), 6-4, 1-6.

Roger was a further top seed after Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray to exit the event. “I played two matches, I feel good physically,” he said. “Jo played an excellent third set. The first two sets were tighter. I should maybe have won the first one, I had some opportunities."

Dear Roger,

Firstly, good luck in Cincinnati, you play well in there. I just want you to know that you are always the best in my heart, but you just look so tire and not much confidence in the last few tournaments. Wake up now and have a good finish in this season. You are still having a couple of missions in the leaving tournaments. Let me give you a break down to remind you and hoping you can reach all of this missions in this season.

I think Roger needs to squeeze his grip a tad more before contact with the ball on the forehands/backhands and serves to reduce the errors and misfires.

As well, further behind the back starting point 5-5:30pm for the forehand to get extra torque and power on the hits instead of starting the forehand at 4pm if he were a clock and looking at 12.

This tips should benefit him greatly. Roger still moves great just a little tweaks are needed to get him back to his real game. Cheers.

Federer even opened the door to the possibility of changing his racquet. “Should I change racquet head size? Should I change strings? It’s always something that is in my mind. Why not use the great technology they have instead of just saying, I’m so happy with what I have; don’t even talk to me.”
