Roger out against Tsonga

12.08.2011 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger lost his second match within a month to Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, ending his quest for the Montreal Masters title after a 6-7(3), 6-4, 1-6.

Roger was a further top seed after Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray to exit the event. “I played two matches, I feel good physically,” he said. “Jo played an excellent third set. The first two sets were tighter. I should maybe have won the first one, I had some opportunities."

too old,not enough mental strength, did not believe in himself, etc etc.
Now look what he has done!
In one of his interviews he stated that some did not beleive in him BUT those who matter did, his wife and family, his team and most importantly he believed in himself.
Roger those that matter believe in you, and I am PROUDLY one of those. Also I plus some others will NEVER forget what you have achieved for yourself, your country, tennis ,sport in general,& charity work.
Regards
Margaret

but he has had his share of injuries since then
Some phenomenal tennis from both players--Jo-Wilfred had an extra match under his belt to his advantage. You have a little rust --so what you are happy & healthy, & world has not ended. No shame in losing to JW--
Yesterday we were fortunate to be in Melbourne [work]--we attended the superb parade for Cadel Evans--brilliant
Here is a man at the age of 34-[make you feel young!!] who, for many years endured so much criticism re his riding,

you, Roger Federer have devoted your time/life in becoming one of the best players ever. Naturally, you have had much support from your wonderful parents [loved their interview]Mirka, friends, team etc.Only natural that you wish to spend time with them and they with you.Time where you can relax, have some good laughs etc .The more the merrier--life is too short.
Apart form the 3rd set we enjoyed match against Tsonga who is a very good player [we watched him demolish Nadal at 2008 AO

Hello Roger
Welcome back to my lounge room--we are pleaed to watch you play your wonderful tennis, once again.
Yesterday perhaps you did not play your best tennis WHICH I did not expect after a well deserved break. Having read and enjoyed your many interviews, it appears that you enjoyed being in your own country spending what little time spare time that you have, with family and friends. No-one but no -one deserves this more than yourself, the reason being that for the past 15 years plus
