Roger dropped out of the quarter finals in Cincinnati as he lost 6-2, 7-6(3) to Tomas Berdych.


Roger had a hard time with Berdych's aggressive play in the first set. On his own second serve, he managed to win a mere 10% of the points played. Roger went on to improve his serve in the second set, taking it into a tie-break after just missing a chance for a break-ball. But he simply committed too many errors during the last phase of the match, losing against Berdych for the third time in their last four encounters.

The US Open - the last Grand Slam of the season - starts in New York in 10 days time.

although it is difficult to say but in my opinion 7 opponents of federer are

1. giraldo
2. sela
3. Cilic
4. troicki.. ( again in this part lots of players knock each ther off )
5. fish
6. djkovic
7. Murray
These are the 7 players that i would pick as per the draw...

The draw is pretty even unlike last year. Roger's potential opponents will be at least 6 years younger till the QF (Giraldo, Bellucci, Cilic, Troicki) and QF could be Fish/Tsonga/Verdasco. Many interesting early round matches: Dolgopolov Vs Gasquet (3R), Berdych Vs Tipsarevic (3R), Tsonga Vs Verdasco (3R), Isner Vs Baghdatis (1R), Soderling Vs Isner/Baghdatis (3R), Delpo Vs Simon (3R), Wawrinka Vs Murray (4R), Ferrer Vs Roddick (4R), Ljubicic Vs Nalbandian (2R), Nadal Vs Gulbis (4R)...

we need to admit fed is not the same
I do not expect anything from him
I just like watching him play
fed can wake up and beat anyone
the next day fed can lose to anyone
so I just like watching him play.

Roger has to show more fight, like at FO, because this draw will test him. Bring your A-Game or its your first year without a GS title.......and that is the reality! And none of us here want that kind of disappointment. So give it your All.

What ever the draw, Roger can deal with it, we just want him to come out in an agressive, determined frame of mind. Come on Roger, you must believe you can win this, we do! Play your best, take no prisoners and win a cup. You are fit and strong and you are still a brilliant player. Come on, allezzzzzzzzzzz
