Roger dropped out of the quarter finals in Cincinnati as he lost 6-2, 7-6(3) to Tomas Berdych.


Roger had a hard time with Berdych's aggressive play in the first set. On his own second serve, he managed to win a mere 10% of the points played. Roger went on to improve his serve in the second set, taking it into a tie-break after just missing a chance for a break-ball. But he simply committed too many errors during the last phase of the match, losing against Berdych for the third time in their last four encounters.

The US Open - the last Grand Slam of the season - starts in New York in 10 days time.

Hai Rog.

Don't worry about Cinci loss. We r always praying&cheering for u alone. Pls just concentrate on the upcoming U.S.Open. Never worry about the draw u r going to get. Just focus on yr health & display yr best tennis. Yr 2008 U.S.open victory comes to my memory now. What a relief on yr face after winning that,even though it was yr 13th slam & 5th U.S.open. Now in 2011, we r all again going to witness the same. Come on dear! All the Very Best & May God Bless U all

Good match that one. Actually since Wimbledon 2010, Djokovic was playing at very good level. One major difference is his serve at crucial moments. Last year he used to double fault or lose the point on 2nd serve, but earlier this year he's hitting an ace or a big first serve (AO till Miami) on such points. And after so many wins this season, his confidence reached the level where he can win matches even with lower serve %.

Roger, good luck in the US Open, I'm sure you can do well in New York! I was worried about the earthquake, but they said on the TV that everything is OK :) ALLEZ ROGER!
