The Feder-bear is a take-home version of Roger, who earlier this year was appointed a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. The Beanie Baby is wearing a cyan shirt, the color of UNICEF, with an ATP logo on the front and the name “FEDERER” on the back above a number—One, of course! Just prior to the US Open, Roger recorded a UNICEF Public Service Announcement, in both English and French, to raise awareness about the problems facing children with HIV/AIDS.

Since John McEnroe and Ted Robinson mentioned the Feder-bear Beanie Baby on the USA Network broadcast, and Roger was accompanied by the Beanie Baby at his press conference, the ATP has received an unprecedented show of support from Roger’s fans from around the world. Thousands of them have joined a waiting list on ATPtennis.com to purchase the Beanie Baby when it is available in December for the holiday season. Roger and the ATP certainly appreciate all that many of you already are doing to help build awareness in Roger’s goal to raise money for UNICEF through the sale of the Feder-bear Beanie Baby.

Proceeds from the sale of the Feder-bear Beanie Baby will benefit the ATP's ACE (Assisting Children Everywhere) program that Roger helped launch last year at Indian Wells, where he organized a charity exhibition to raise funds for the tsunami victims. ACE is a global partnership between the ATP and UNICEF to help ensure health, education and protection of children around the world.
