Roger to open against Tipsarevic

The program of the Davis Cup weekend between Switzerland and Serbia is out. Roger will open the encounter on Friday at 13.00 against Janko Tipsarevic (ATP 92). It is the first time the two players meet. Later in the afternoon Switzerland’s number two, Stanislas Wawrinka (ATP 44), will challenge Novak Djokovic (ATP 21).

 

On Saturday Roger and Yves Allegro will match Nenad Zimonjic and Ilja Bozoljac.

 

The final singles on Sunday will start with Roger against Novak Djokovic followed by Stanislas Wawrinka meeting Tipsarevic.

 

Geneva (Palexpo/Rebound Ace indoor).

SWITZERLAND (Roger/ATP 1, Stanislas Wawrinka/ATP 44, Yves Allegro/ATP 37 doubles, Marco Chiudinelli/ATP 189)

SERBIEN (Novak Djokovic/ATP 21, Janko Tipsarevic/ATP 92, Ilja Bozoljac/ATP 131, Nenad Zimonjic/ATP 11 doubles).

 

Match times:

Friday 13.00: Federer - Tipsarevic, followed by Wawrinka - Djokovic.

Saturday 13.00: Federer/Allegro - Zimonjic/Bozoljac.

Sunday 12.00: Federer - Djokovic, followed by Wawrinka - Tipsarevic.

Good luck Roger. Hope team Switzerland will quickly maintain to World Group, because next year, I'm sure Roger, Stanislas, Yves and Marco must win the Davis Cup!!!!!!
