Roger flies into quarters

Roger has reached the quarter finals at the US Open thanks to a brilliant 6-1, 6-2, 6-0 victory over Argentina's Juan Monaco. The match began just before midnight but ended before an approaching storm drenched Flushing Meadows. Once he finally started playing, Roger didn't take long to win. He needed only 82 minutes, including 14 aces to win the match at 1:15 a.m. on Tuesday. He had 42 winners and 21 unforced errors and never faced a break point.

“Waiting so long, it’s very important to get off to a great start,” Roger said in an interview after the match. “I really tried to play aggressive and it all worked out until the very end. I never had to change my game plan."

Roger also had sympathy for his opponent: "It's tough for Juan. I've been in that position before when I lost badly on this court to Andre Agassi, so I know what it feels like," he added. "Sometimes it's just not your day, but it was mine tonight and it feels great."

Our champ will next face Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in a rematch of their Wimbledon quarter-final, which the Frenchman won.

He should re-direct it down the line, AFTER sending it xcourt the 1st time, 'cuz it's a no-win situation~!

CORRECT TACTIC: IF HE CAN'T MAKE A WINNING EMPHATIC XCOURT BACKHAND SHOT THE 1ST TIME, HE SHOULD REDIRECT IT DOWN THE LINE OR SWITCH OVER TO INSIDE-OUT FOREHAND, THAT'S IT~!

Rog has complete games SUPERIOR over hungry wolfpack, but he still needs 2 play SMARTER, not harder~!!!

rats, just when Rog's up a BREAK against TSONGA, here comes that stupid rain~!

c'monnnn, rain, pls. go away, at least till AFTER Rog avenges his last 2 losses by beatin' up on TSONGA & send him back 2 France where he belongs already....

last time this happens @ FO-2011, DJOKER got XTRA DAYS OFF, yet he got WIPED OFF THE COURT BY OUR ROG, i.e. being the only 1 this year who could beat him....

I WENT HOME EARLY TO TRY TO SNEAK A PEEK @ ROG'S THRILLIN' MATCH VS TSONGA, ALL 4 NAUGHT!
