Switzerland back in World Group

Rogers double partner Stanislas Wawrinka sealed Switzerland's return to the Davis Cup World Group after winning against Australia's Lleyton Hewitt 4-6, 6-4, 6-7(9), 6-4, 6-3. Wawrinka needed just one game to complete victory.

The World Group 2012 draw will be on 21 September in Bangkok.

Congratulations Roger, Stan & Severin on winning the DC tie. Your hard work was rewarded with victory. I'm especially happy for u Roger for winning the Peter Carter Trophy for Switzerland. I stayed up and watched all the matches and last night shared your joy & celebration.
