Switzerland to play USA

21.09.2011 | Tennis, Starseite 3

Roger and the other members of the Swiss Davis Cup team around Severin Lüthi will play the team from the USA in the first round of the Davis Cup World Group. The rubber is scheduled for February 10-12, 2012. The Swiss team will be able to profit from home field advantage.

The last meeting between the two countries goes back to 2009 in Birmingham, with the Americans taking home a clear 4-1 victory.

I agree with RTLVR, go Suisse. Roddick is from the US, but I am not glad about that. Roddick always finds something to complain about & then tries to talk himself around it after. He has a major chip on his shoulder.

Go Stan, Go Suisse, Go Roger!!! And please, one more time, beat that sullen and unsporstmanly representative from my country, Andy Roddick.

How about clay courts to give Stan an edge and have some wiggle room against the incredible Bryans? You are a master in every surface and Stan is getting better in grass which means he will be a master of each ground soon. Clay for your stop volley drop shots and the americans will drown. My best wishes and go all the way.
