Switzerland to play USA

Roger and the other members of the Swiss Davis Cup team around Severin Lüthi will play the team from the USA in the first round of the Davis Cup World Group. The rubber is scheduled for February 10-12, 2012. The Swiss team will be able to profit from home field advantage.

The last meeting between the two countries goes back to 2009 in Birmingham, with the Americans taking home a clear 4-1 victory.

Hello Roger,

Congratulations to you and the Swiss team for the return to Davis Cup World Group. Good luck in February against the USA team, although as an American I'm mixed on my support. Both teams are terrific.

Also, good luck in Shanghai.
