Roger storms through

Roger made a solid start into the Swiss Indoors in Basel today, defeating Potito Starace 7-6(3), 6-4.

It took Roger some time to find the rhythm in his ground strokes, but he won the tiebreak of the first set comfortably 7-3. In the second set our champ then broke the 54th-ranked Starace's serve in the opening game and eventually wrapped up the win after 78 minutes in front of a cheering home crowd.

 

Roger will now face either Thomas Bellucci (ATP 38) or Jarkko Nieminen (ATP 66) on Wednesday.

Couldn't watch the whole match, but did catch the first set tie-break and the last game of the match online....:-)
Wish they aired it here in India!!

PS- @mad rf fan frm india- livescorehunter.tv is a good one to watch live streaming....someone posted the link the other day on the guestbook here....:-)
